Construction on the new Weyburn General Hospital is progressing quickly and on schedule. This state-
of-the-art facility will help transform healthcare delivery for Weyburn and surrounding communities. The
hospital’s building envelope, exterior finishes, heli-pad and site work are now complete with crews
continuing to work hard on the interior of the hospital. When complete, the hospital will feature 25 acute
care beds, 10 in-patient mental health beds, ambulatory care, allied health, and Emergency Medical
Services.

The modern design will help patients receive comprehensive care closer to home in a welcoming and
patient-centric space designed to improve accessibility and inclusivity in healthcare.

Collaboration at Its Finest

At the heart of this hospital is a remarkable partnership. Adero Architecture, Wright Construction and LM
Architectural Group have worked hand-in-hand to bring this vision to life. Each milestone reflects the
synergy between our teams and celebrates design innovation and construction excellence.

This group effort underscores a shared commitment to creating a facility that not only meets the technical  and functional requirements but also embodies the spirit of community care. Wright Construction’s leadership in execution and LM Architectural Group’s expertise in healthcare planning, combined with Adero’s design vision, have set a new benchmark for healthcare infrastructure in Saskatchewan.

Looking Ahead

The new Weyburn General Hospital is more than bricks and mortar – it represents better health
outcomes, patient-centric care environments, and a stronger community. For Adero Architecture and its
partners, this is not just a project – it’s a legacy. Together we are shaping a future where healthcare in
Saskatchewan is more accessible, efficient, and patient-focused.
